You’ll find zinc and copper in foods such as broccoli, lentils and sesame seeds, and like any nutrient, you can become deficient in them if you don’t get enough from your diet alone. We formulate our zinc and copper supplement together because too much zinc alone can inhibit your copper intake. A carefully balanced ratio of the two is the most effective way to benefit from the supplement. We also only use organic forms of zinc and copper in our Zinc + Copper, 15 mg + 1 mg supplement in super-active zinc chelate (OptiZinc®) and copper citrate forms, to increase absorption and the benefit to your body. |
